Subject: buffy animation??

Joss Wheden, according to the 06/17/04 issue of tvguide, will be shopping around the Buffy animated series. Ally, Nicholas, and Anthony have agreed to do voice overs for the pilot and presumably the series if it happens. While Gellar declined due to her busy schedule. Joss did get another actress to agree to do the Buffy voice overs and she sounds a lot like Gellar so not much will be out of sink there. So one wonders though, this being animated, will it be more risque like King of The Hill or Simpsons, or will we miss out on some of the things we loved about the not animated show. If this pans out it will undoubtedly be vastly different but hey long live the buffyverse in any form?? what do you all think?

hmm now this will be interesting and i surely will have to have a look at it but certain parts of the characters we've come to love will undoubtedly have to be changed due tot he venue its placed in which to me a core buffy fan will be sad.

ok from my understanding this buffy cartoon will be centered around season 1 which means no Anya, Spike, Tara or Faith??? well of course I will have to have a looksee to see what it will be but I agree, many things not just including Willow's gayness will be gone. Sooo I'm wondering what the avid buffyadict will think of this...hmmm jury will be in soon

ok so its a buffy cartoon, to the avid fan this will be odd but it may draw in others who will come searching and get on the buffyverse bandwagon and get us a movie! lol the willow character, it'll be weird to see what they have to do w/ her but we know what happens in seasons next years so if they stay in s1 i guess willow is stuck in nerdville. it'll be worth checking out i mean after all many first watched the show to see how stupid it was going to be then ended up loving it...lol
