>Hello everyone, not so sure if many of you still remember me nevertheless, I am really impressed of how you guys put these things together, all for the love from where we came from one way or the other. Tama nga ang kasabihan nating mga Filipino, “Ang hindi lumingon sa pinanggalingan, madalas madapa….. ehe’ (patawa lang po…) di makakarating sa paroroonan.”

I also agree on Arlene’s proposal seconded by Joseph to formally register our batch organization as a non-profit non-stock corporation, I guess an NGO for short, not only as a center point of resource generation but also in laying down the foundation on how we direct available resources we have on meaningful, sustainable growth strategy for our fellows initially in the province of Sorsogon and later on, on a much bigger & wider scale as much as we can. Sabi nga nila, di naman daw mabubuo and isang piso kung walang singko.

There’s a lot of learning experiences that we can gather/study here both within and outside of our own country, individually and collectively, positively as well as its pitfalls. This is to ensure thorough understanding of everyone based on shared information and the path that we are going to travel. Frankly speaking, having a formal organization is not just as simple as fund raising but a shared responsibility towards meeting our identified goals and aspirations.

Needless to say, there’s a lot things to thresh out here. We will have to answer the following sample questions below to be able to come up with its whole concept/framework and strategies:

What situation we would like to address, micro/macro levels and Why?
What do we want to achieve, short term, long term?
Whom do we want to help?
Where do we get our resources?
Etc.

Since we are already dreaming of something better, siguro naggugurang na talaga kita gabos, I am challenging everyone, let’s aim higher guys without loosing sight to realities. This is the best announcement we can make during our 2007 Silver Jubilee........

All the best!
