 My thoughts: What I liked best about magic was three things 1. Playing with my friends trashtalking them joking with them you get the picture. Online you will not be playing with your friends you will be playing with a twelve year old who got his deck from a champion list that was published.
2. Getting new cards was fun opening the packages smelling them looking through them. In a sense you will get that but it won't have the new smell.
3. Checking the value of my cards. I liked owning cards that were valuable. Electronic cards have no value.

So in the end my thoughts are that it is probably not worth it.
