Subject: A new mare approaches looking for a herd

A four year old Friesian mare mix tops a small hill. Her nostril's flare hoping for a scent of her kind. She was once beautiful and with the help of a herd will be again. Her ears flick as she listens for the sounds of the wolves she escaped moments ago. The breeze caresses her raven black mane and tail, as she paws the ground uncertainly.

She is Silky Mystwalker, by Dark Desire-White Blanket Appaloosa, out of Silver Dakota Moon-Friesian X Thoroughbred. Her dusty form is hard to distinguish, but under the mud and the muck lies the sleek form of a Thoroughbred. Her barrel and withers are black as the night of the new moon. Upon her flanks, lies a White Blanket like ivy leaves upon a ruined building. Her mane, tail, and elongated feathers show her Friesian heritage.

There are many scrapes upon her delicate legs, mostly superficial. She whinnies loudly across the way, praying for an answer.
