If this freedom is ever punctured she will sicken but she is a fighter and she will not die. She is not interested in motherhood and holds her head proud and high. She is her own authority and is hard to reach.

A gorgeous dun Lusitano mare lopes into a clearing, spinning wildly in circles. Her eyes ablaze and her neck beading sweat she glances around at her sorroundings. The scent that comes to her nostrils is mixed up and her mane swirls in all directions. The wind changes so fast she does not know where the scent hails from. Rearing, she flings her soul into a challenging whinny. Chest heaving, her hooves crunch into the earth and the wind dies down. Her ears swivel and she loactes the source of the smell. Turning her defined head about 45 degrees she watches the dusty spot. The wind kicks up and she has no other option but to wait for the arrival.
