First, you must create a character. That means creating stats such as breed, gender, appearance, personality, etc. Then you come up with a name. Once you join your character on this board, you must role-play. Role-playing means what it looks like. You must play the role of your character. In other words, when posting a response from your character, you have to put yourself in the character's mindset. This is not only fun but very rewarding.

Your character's personality is very important. In order to continue playing a character, he/she must have a good personality, otherwise, he/she might become boring and monotonous to play. Often times, alter-ego characters of yourself are easy, and rather fun, to create and play.
