It was scrapped due to unrepairable structural cracking a few years ago (there's a thread about it here in the archives). It's be a LOT lighter than the three-ton K-5.

Towable vehicles now consist of the Festiva, the Blazer (both my wife's), and my 7000+lb Fummins (1979 F-350 SuperCab 4x4 with a 6BT). The Festiva is too small (and has no A/C), the Fummins...well, it just isn't happening. My friend used to tow a 1980 VW Rabbit pickup behind his Dodge-chassis class C (28', IIRC)...now, he tows a well-worn 1988 Toyota flatbed dually. He likes the fact that, with some creativity, it will accomodate an ATV, a 3-wheeler, & 2 dirtbikes (he was pretty creative); alternately, it will hold a snowmobile. The rabbit struggled with ONE ATV or 2-3 bikes.
