Well, it's only got 42 thousand miles on it. It's just so thirsty I can't justify using it unless I really need the capacity or the plow. It looks worse from the back, because of the usual box rust, bottom cab corner rust, etc. And last year we were using it out in the field with a dump trailer to haul clay, and the hitch broke and the tongue punched a hole in the tailgate. I also accidentally put the tongue of a log splitter through the rear window, replaced it with a slider, and within a few months managed to put a piece of lumber through one of the panels of that, so now there's a piece of plastic there. But it runs like new, of course*, and until something major breaks, I don't see any reason to ditch it, even though I'm kind of hankering for an F350 or K3500 with a dump body and a diesel.

Even the thermal axle actuator still works! I think that may be something for the Guinness book of Records.
