It's up in the 3.50's here in Vermont for regular. A lot of variation, and hourly fluctuation it seems. It's like the day after Katrina. I got gas yesterday at 3.55, but wouldn't be surprised if it's a nickel more today. My Jeep still gets close to 25 mpg, so I'm not doing as badly as some, but still, yesterday a fillup came close to 60 bucks, and that's at the very least annoying.
I see Little Old Me has made a reappearance. Gloat and giggle all you want, but the people who can afford big SUV's and pickups aren't the ones who really suffer. It's everyone who depends on the truckers and tradesmen who can do nothing but pass their cost on to you, the consumer. And more importantly, it's the people who struggle to put food on the table. It's not that funny.
