I have such a man-crush on Ken Block. Shame I missed Rally New York, as expected he dominated (although it is an amateur rally, so it's kind o unfair to have him - with the full backing of SOA - competing).
My STI is pretty much stock except for a new stereo and some appearance bits. 07-08 2.5L STI engines have had some issues in approx 2-4% of the cars, so I want to leave it stock for the foreseeable future in case I have an issue and need to make a claim. I see maybe a short-throw shifter and new shifter bushings and perhaps an exhaust in my near future.
It will be tempting though, I hear it's very very easy to reach 350whp for only around $2,500 by going Stage 2... car wouldn't be legal though. :(
