• There was a slight curve to her small form these days and her appetite had certainly been growing. The noise that accompanied her opening the door bore proof that she had brought home the nephews and niece with her. The twins adored Fallon - Romeo thought he was the biggest guy in the world, even bigger then Kaleb and that was pretty big. He looked around for his 'Uncle' before he peeped his head into the doorway and grinned. "Whatcha doin' U'cle Fall?" He questioned curiously, though Moon was soon right behind him. She had no such politeness of talking before entering, she just rushed right in and threw herself into his lap. For awhile, he had been kinda cold but the little girl never gave up on him. • He was thankful that both the kids and Di had had some semblance of faith in him while he'd been mourning - he couldn't have imagined coming out on the other side of that hell without anyone left. He grinned a little, giving the girl a squeeze and nodding to Romeo. "I'm setting up the crib for the new baby." There was no sense in lying, as, though they were kids, they would eventually put together the presence of a furnished nursery with the impending arrival of a new cousin. • Moon lifted her eyes to him before she nodded lightly. "Your going to have a new baby? We have a new baby." She looked over to Romeo before she looked back over to Fallon seriously. "I take good care of her, but sometimes Greg throws his toys at her and Romeo gets grumpy cuz she cries." She fell silent for a second before her tiny little brow furrowed. "She does cry an awful lot." She huffed a little before she smiled again as Diamond called for her. "Aunt Di says that I can help her with dinner!" She exclaimed before she shot back out the door. • He couldn't help but chuckle a little at the talkative girl as she perched on his lap for a fleeting moment before taking off. He only shook his head in her wake - he ached to have a little girl of his own to do the same things but call him daddy instead of Uncle. He tipped his head up, catching the little boy. • He cocked a brow, his eyes taking him in with an intensity that went well beyond his five years of age. "Your not so sad anymore. Is it cuz your having a new baby?" He questioned softly, shifting his weight from one tiny foot to another, looking over his shoulder protectively at his little brother before he looked back to Fallon. For awhile, when his dad had first left, he had felt like he had to be the man - his daddy had told him so - that he had to look after the family now and he had taken that job very seriously. • The look on his face showed that he didn't believe him but his thoughts were interrupted before they could be voiced thanks to his Aunt calling for him. Casting another look at Fallon, he then turned and headed to the kitchen where has Aunt was setting out hotdogs and mac and cheese for them all. A few moments later, Di came into the hallway, her brow furrowed as she noticed the door to the nursery open. As she stepped in the doorway, her eyes widened a touch to see Fall sitting on the ground, parts and pieces surrounding him. "Whats that?" • He was really trying to put out an effort - he figured if she still felt like he was feeling uncomfortable and unprepared for the new baby that she would never settle with it and that was the last thing he wanted. • She took a step in, gazing around for a second before she nodded a little. "Mhmm, I remember." She let out a soft breath, her eyes on him for a second before she knelt down beside him, her fingers curving around his jaw and urging his lips to hers, kissing him tenderly for a long moment - her touch warm and sweet. "I love you." She breathed out when they parted, her eyes full of adorating and love for the man in front of her. He really was wonderful, more then she could have ever imagined a man could be... • He reached up to cup her cheek lightly as their lips met, and did not release his hold on her for a moment longer after they'd pulled away. • She nodded a touch, bringing his hand to the curve of her stomach which just a few weeks ago had been perfectly flat. "I am starting to show." • She smiled a little, kneeling there as she looked down at him, her fingers smoothing through his hair lovingly. "We are going to be better then ok...you know that, right Fallon?" She murmured softly. "We are going to be perfect, happily ever after, every story has a little bit of angst in it, the pain is what gets you from perfect snapshot to perfect snapshot..." • He smiled, nodding and pressing a kiss to her lips briefly. It was encouraging and gave him hope to hear her speaking so positively after what had seemed like an eternity of wondering if things were going to work out at all. • He laughed a soft laugh at that - he wasn't the smallest man ever either - and with less work at night running the streets, he had allowed himself a little more time at the gym - his body was something he took a great deal of pride in - not just his body but his other belongings, and her as well.
