Subject: Moonlight

I was surprised that there have been no postings about "Moonlight" here. I read a review in one paper that suggested it stole from Angel without taking the good parts. Still, I have watched the first two episodes. It's no angel, but it has been interesting so far. It deviates from Buffyverse in a few respects. It seems to me that if a series is obviously derivative, it should follow canon. I have noticed in science fiction that nearly all robot stories tend to follow the pioneer in such stories, Isaac Asimov, with the positronic brain and the three laws of robotics. It seems to me that Joss should get the same respect.

Is anyone else watching the series? Or are you too disgruntled to do so?
