I don't buy that. I can understand if Buffy had saved the occasional individual, if she ever come across a vampire or demon trying to kill someone by chance. But to revolve her entire life around slaying them . . . to the point of giving up on any dreams she might have? NO. I'm sorry, but no I don't agree. I certainly don't agree, considering that Buffy and other Slayers were coereced into this lifestyle, due to the magic of a group of shamans too cowardly to protect their people from demons, themselves.
