Subject: Dollhouse 1.3: Stage Fright

I don't have much to say this time. A fairly predictable premiss with a couple of story twists. The diva's desire to end it all in a blaze of teenage immortality fantasy reflects Caroline's desire to disappear into the Dollhouse. But then you already knew that.

The story of getting Echo close to the diva worked mainly because it had to. It was weak, but if you couldn't buy it or let it slide, you'd change channels and that would be the end of it.

The complete tabula rasa business was getting old fast, so Echo's headshake at the end is welcome. I would like to see some indication of why the mind wipe doesn't quite work on some of them like Alpha and Echo, soon.

Given the Dollhouse's naming conventions, does anyone else have a great desire to meet Bravo and Tango? Charlie sounds a bit mundane, though. Too bad the old call letter 'Foxtrot' was dropped long ago, when 'Bravo' replaced 'Baker!'
