I'm a bit surprised that this place hasn't come back to life what with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in may ways reviving the Buffy/Angel/(Wheedon?)verse with a Marvel twist but similar character archetypes and plots - with just a bit more science and technology and a bit less fantasy (although there's plenty of that too...)
