Subject: Help Fans Get Joss Whedon a Star on the Hllywd Walk of Fame

What do you give the man who created his own universe?

A star, of course! In this case, it’s a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Fans of Joss Whedon want to do something to show Joss how much what he means to us by giving him something else to add to his legacy. A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame represents a professional legacy that is recognized and respected by the Hollywood professional community, and is also a symbol of affection and honor by the fans.

The campaign to get A Star For Joss has begun, but we need your help. We need fans to contribute to the effort by making a donation on the website and by spreading the word to other fans.

If you have a blog, website, or other online presence, please drop by our site and grab a banner, and link back to us. We have only a few months to meet the deadline for the Walk of Fame’s nomination approval. We are also raising funds to cover the cost of the star and need your donation to help us make the deadline. Any extra funds we have after paying for the star will be split between Equality Now and the Sam Loeb Scholarship Fund, charities supported by Joss and his fans.
