Yes, it does feel a bit strange to be back but I must admit that one of my first thoughts as I was carrying the comic out of the store was that I could start posting to the discussion board again!

My experience was a bit fuller than that. I got the email from the comic store saying what was due in that week. I saw the Buffy comic (as well as Fuyumi Ono's Twelve Kingdoms series) and instantly rang up the store and put them on my standing order. I went into the city (Sydney-speak for downtown), and forced myself to think of other things so that I wouldn't be overcome with excitement. I mean the shipment has been delayed before and I have returned from the store disappointed because customs still had not released the container or there was a delay in the US. But when I got to the store, I couldn't keep the grin off my face and when the precious comic was handed over, I did a little happy dance with the guy behind the counter and everyone was feeling and giving the love. If only Sweet was there I think it could've been a great musical number!

And I don't want to analyse right now, just savour. Thanks Joss. And hi again, everyone.
