I just received my latest issue of SI, a magazine for scientific or intellectual types, mostly, I think--OK, let's just call them geeks! It mainly consists of articles debunking the paranormal and quackery, and there was a tongue in cheek article, earlier, about why the existence of vampires was impossible.

It was heartwarming to see the number of letters that referred to Buffy or Angel in good natured rebuttals. I was especially pleased to see it appear in a magazine of such high standing. I learned of the magazine from Carl Sagan, not in person, of course, but he had written a widely published article recommending it.

Vampires seem to be making a comeback lately, and any articles on the phenomenon irks me a little if they don't make mention of Buffy or Angel. Anyway, I wanted to call everyone's attention to this particular issue of the magazine.
