Subject: The mentality of a "vidder"

I recently finished a Buffy class in college that dealt with all sorts of topics. But, for my final paper I had decided to look into Buffy fandom and more precisely fan videos. Why are they important? Why do people make them? What do you all think. What makes a good Buffy analytical video that tailors to the complexities of the show.
