I don't get the link to that thread? (No "Annointed" that I could see readily, didn't search a lot though...) Great to see vigious posts discussing this & that...

But mostly I don't get what you mean by regret that comments about "The Annointed Buffy" end in S3?

Sure, she sometimes craved a non-fat yogurt afterwards, and maybe an annointion (a word?) yougurt submersion would be a sight to see. Sprinkling yogurt for Annointing purposes would hardly be, ahem, "Canon" to anyone, I'm sure.

Yorgurt bikinis aside, maybe "Annointing" the slayer, or "The Annointed One" is something Wesley said in his brief Btvs sting? (Or is somebody confusing "The Annoying One", as Spike loving called him, of Season One? The Master's little buddy? Isiah something (14:13, a guess without looking), Giles quotes the bible verse from memory (shocking Miss Janna Kalander) "yadda... and a little child shall lead...". The idea I think, coupling the Bible reference with the Aurulius writings/prophecies from the Codex book Angel found for Giles.

The latter above all from Buffy 1x12 "Prophecy Girl"; Annoying Annointed One, Season One with the Master, then Season Two: he vies with Spike & Drusilla. Weird Dru fears him somewhat (this one has power), I never saw any power...

Did anyone like/read Nancy Holder's book "Queen of the Slayers"? I wonder about that Joss comment about "Canon". Its not in the article that Rob linked to. To snippy for Joss, mean I mean. Amoung many things, he's always respectful (imo). But i never met him or worked for him (and wasn't anywhere around when Buffy/Angel was around the first time, I only seen the DVDs, etc).

That's why I like/respect Masq's site. Respectful... I still would like to know why Sarah was not on any of the Buffy DVD featurettes
