Olaf!

Yes. Who else thinks, that near the end of "The Gift" (b5.22), just after the portal opens, but before the Dragon comes out.

A quick shot to Xander trying to help Anya get up, when a big, nearby THUD occurs. Olaf falls out of the portal, dazed, but recognizes Xander & Anyanka.

Olaf: "Am I back? Did you do this? I that I smelled... heard my Hammer calling to me..." \

That causes Anya & Xander to quick look at where Buffy had left the Hammer after beating Glory with it ("no vauge disclaimer here). But Olaf then sees the Hammer, he gets and takes off into... Maybe run into Angel... or the Trio in Season Three try lure him.

(Would have loved to see a Troll-God roar next to Fred...)


btw: I always think both Buffy & Angel should have aquired more allies as time went on.

Angel: Trepkos & Cribb, Bethany Chaulk, Daniel Holtz, left over Initiative (Riely maybe). Yes (btw), young or old Holtz could lived in the Hotel, provide a righteous voice. I didn't really get why they made him not care about the fact that Angel had a soul. That would be the most important thing to him.

(I guess the reverse point that was made, was that his thirst for vengence had consumed him, and he realized that at the end, seeing Conner play with Angel in the alley).

Buffy: Knights of Byzantium (General Gregor or that other guy, who Glory mind-sucked. If didn't kill him, when Glory defeated he would have remembered. And got the Slayer 10,000 swords when she needed it... And Spike would still burn.

Buffy: I love you.
Spike: No you don't, but thanks for saying it.
