What you say is proof that people never learn from history, or shows they have written in the past...;) I like the opener and have no reason why they didn't kill everyone except that it's an experiment and that's not the only thing the Cylons are doing in the universe. Sometimes there isn't a particular reason that someone does anything and that's why the Cylons and Humans are still fighting it out.
