I was amazed at how many I had forgotten or hadn't even noticed. Read through it, it's worth the time (it has spoilers up to the most recent episode, of course).

One thing I realized, while The Black Rock slave ship was discussed - dynamite was invented well after the American slave trade ended - were there other places in the world importing slaves in the late 1800s?

Looking down the list, I've come up with a plausible scenario that combines the original Star Trek episode For the World Is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky and The Matrix, even though I have no belief that this is actually what's going on on the show...
