Something and nothing this week. An unexpected plot direction but not unfamiliar in terms of previous takes on the same idea. It did lack any real theme that would justify the re-working of this form of time-travel plotline but it was excellently performed, the best yet in that regard. It just needed an extra nuance; perhaps an element of consequence which wasn't present in the show as broadcast. I find it difficult to believe that the writers hadn't noticed the unexplored possibilities in the storyline and if that was the case it was a strange decision to let the episode fall so flat at the end. Great sex scene though, passionate, tender and erotic without being too graphic.
