The "Old Hollywood" doesn't quite explain it. She did appear on Season 6 Disk 6 "Slayer with Byte" & also the musical making of ("David Fury's...). She didn't speak, but did show making scenes, rehersals (while hearing her sing "...you don't get to rehearse" in the background).

And she did appear in early shorts I remember seeing on FX web site (when Buffy still seen on FX).

It was only when the DVD's came out. Season 1 DVD's had David Boreanaz with exclusive--with beatnik mustache--Mark Blucas had same beatnik mustache in Season Five Featurette.

Somebody or something was preventing or blocking her at least. Maybe it was money to be on DVD problem, or a fight with the mysterious Kuzai's (check the Buffy movie DVD featurettes for them, wow).

Someone should remind celebrities like The Scoobies, someone like Leonard Nimoy, saying (in Kendra's words): "You always do that. You speak like slaying is your job. It's not a job, its who you are".
