...They said Nina was a European werewolf as opposed to Oz's type. Maybe the European ones revert back but the others don't.

There are a couple other things too...The doctor said the American types walk on all fours but in the very first apperance of the Ozwolf, he's on two legs. And looks more like the Nina-wolf than in his later apperances.
