I think the answer to your last question is no. There is no Buffy without Joss and he has gone on to other things, Like Wonder Woman And Possable more in the Firefly Universe . So I'm affrade it is RIP Buffy on the small or big screen. There is still the occasional book and FanFic like the very good Angle S6 on this site
