At that point in the story did we even know of the existence of the Ra-tet? I thought the Ra-tet was first encountered in Long Day's Journey in S4. I thought that all we knew about the White Room was that it was a conduit to the Senior Partners (or did we know even that?). Given what we eventually know about the White Room as the home of the the Conduit, I would assume that the "we" in question was the Senior Partners, not WR&H or the Ra-tet. But now that I think about it, I guess I am a little confused about the connection between the Ra-tet and the SP's. Was Mesektet double dipping (I would think not advisable as the SP's were not all that understanding regarding their employees conduct).
