I very much agree with this. Obviously, however, not ALL actions can have meaningful consequences...
True, but every time something significant occurred, you were always left wondering "Is this going to come back to haunt this character?" As in real life, sometimes it did (a lot) and somtimes it didn't. Either way, it left you in suspense and made you really ponder what had happened and how you viewed it - good/bad/indifferent. The fact that people are still debating these issues a full 2 1/2 years after the show concluded just amazes me. Best show (or maybe tied with Angel) ever.
