I try not to be a stickler for formalities and try to go with the flow but is this really what we have come to - an English prof trying to distill literature into something that is suitable for 3x5 inch cell phone text message? This is a major advance over Cliff Notes or waiting for the movie (or TV program). This is going to "help make great literature more accessible" and "raise up educational standards"? Okay, I will now be joining the old foggy elitist club. Is this perhaps a joke, am I being punk'd?
