Locke is pretty clearly, in Jack's eyes, a maverick. I can see why he would cause Jack concern. His choices at the hatch were, in Jack's view, threatening to the lives of all. He was on his own mission while frightened people waited for them at the beach. I think he's right to worry. But again, that's based on a lack of knowledge about Locke. If he knew, would it change things? Or would he find a medical explanation?

I wonder if Ana Lucia had kids at some point. They hit that question a number of times. Perhaps her past will show something that makes her promise to the girl more significant than what it appeared.

If Sayid can find compassion for Ana, we have a way out. Hopefully that can happen. It wouldn't surprise me if some of the people who had made similar mistakes and blame themselves for their stupidity might be incredibly harsh on Ana. A la Buffy in I only have eyes for you. "I don't understand why she would forgive him."
