My definition was from the Merriam-Webster electronic dictionary

Main Entry:pejorative
Function:adjective
Etymology:Late Latin pejoratus, past participle of pejorare to make or become worse,
from Latin pejor worse; akin to Sanskrit padyate he falls, Latin ped-, pes foot — more at FOOT
Date:circa 1888
: having negative connotations; especially
: tending to disparage or belittle

DEPRECIATORY
–pe£jo£ra£tive£ly adverb

This is how I meant to use the term in the sense that there is nothing inherently negative about either the term woman of gay catalog model but in the context of describing Wesley who is neither a woman nor gay (as far as I know as he did seem to prefer Virginia Bryce, Lilah and Fred over Angel or Gunn) it could be interpreted as having a negative connotation. I accept that manwitch did not mean it in that way and that I misunderstood the origin and the intention of the quote. My mistake!
