No, not yet. In fact, speaking from experience, broadcasts on an HDTV that aren't specifically filmed for HD, or enhanced for HD, look worse than on a regular television because all the flaws stand out more. Even DVDs don't look great on an HDTV unless you get one of these new kinds of DVD players that simulate the effect of HD, to enhance the picture. This is why so many people are eagerly anticipating the upcoming HD-DVDs.
