I have grown to really, really like this show. I find the humor clever and intelligent and I like the way that Bones and Booth interact. I think Dr. Brennan is a great character - I have known very bright people who are very much like her (of course she is an extreme case but that is the nature of Dramedy, especially on TV).

There are just so many funny lines:
The conversation in the car about arresting a short fellon
Bones yelling "Forensic Anthropogist - that's why I don't have a gun" when everyone draws their guns and announces who they are
The TV interview - How do you manage to be a writer and also an anthropologist? I do one and then I do the other.
The "I don't know what that means" response from Bones in response to almost any question involving popular culture. The response is matter of fact - no apology for not knowing.

I definitely see Angel in Booth - sometimes he seems to be channeling Angel at least when Angel engaged in light hearted banter. I detect some of the same insecurities in Booth that I found so endearing in Angel. I don't care much for procedurals and they could just skip the whole mystery and just let the characters randomly interact as I think the dialog often times sparkles.
