I think it is only a matter of time that given the myriad or writers, directors, producers, actors etc on Joss shows and their spin-offs, every show on television will have some Joss connection, kind of a Kevin Bacon like degrees of separation. Then what will we do then? I am already watching some pretty bad (in my opionion) TV just because of this connection. I am watching season 4 of Smallville just to get the back story so I can watch JM this season and I am not really enjoying the show. I hate to confess this but I watched season 6 of Beverly Hills 90210 on SoapNet just to see Emma Caufield. My obsession with all things Buffy is beginning to cause me some concern and in fact, an ex-girlfriend seriously inquired as to whether perhaps I was having an emotional breakdown when I kept babbling about the philosophical themes of BtVS and Angel. At this point, I take solace in the belief that my obsession is at least marginally more healthy than an addiction to drugs.
