Her black hair, which reaches her waist when unbound, is normally pulled back into a braid. Her features are obviously Elven and, although her looks are commonplace among the elves, most humans find her extremely attractive. Akilah dresses practically in “men’s clothes” and has a cape of nondescript color that helps her blend in to a crowd. On her back, concealed by her cape, she carries an Elven sword given to her by her mother. Demeanor:Akilah is quiet; she keeps her emotions inside and rarely loses control of them. She talks only when she has something to say and becomes exasperated with anyone who chatters aimlessly. She deals with others in a business-like manner. This, in addition to her fear of commitment, accounts for her trouble in making friends. However, when she does make friends, they become friends for life. She is also afraid of failure and dragons. Personal History: Akilah is the daughter of Daithí of Shyam and Arai’laai Tiamar. Shyam is an old and noble Elven house, but Akilah’s Elven relatives refused to recognize her because her mother was human. Akilah was raised by her Hia’dian mother and learned swordplay and riding from some of the finest warriors in their tribe, Khali-Roshan. She learned Hia’dian customs but has never been able to satisfy her curiosity about her Elven heritage. At age 69, Akilah’s mother was killed by desert brigands. Since then Akilah has roamed Pliartha, taking on odd jobs while attempting to learn about her Elven heritage. She inherited Elven magic from her father, so she intuitively knows what the weather will be and can influence it when she wishes.
