Demon Cry was given the curse by Usher to use upon her estranged mate. He was lusting after her then, and wanted to prove himself worthy of her affections. When she turned her eye to another stallion, Usher challenged her. If he won, she became his. If she won, she could kill him. She pauses. They should have both died from their fight. The stallion that Demon Cry had chosen over Usher came to her aid. He found a healer for her. Once healed, she used the curse on Usher as a payback. It brought him back from his death, but made him her prisoner. She pauses once again, to collect herself. I'm willing to do any quest I must to recieve the power to set him free. If the people here can award a power like Hail Five Times, why can't they award me the power to set him free? she asks angrily. It would take less for a power like that than to award a power like Hail Five Times, she points out.
