受薪董事兼牌照委員會秘書祁禮謙發出通告如下：

以下為牌照委員會在今天的會議上作出的一些決定。

現任持牌練馬師卓普咸

委員會 –

1. 記錄現任持牌練馬師卓普咸於二○○三年五月十五日星期四傍晚向委員會提交信件，聲稱他希望撤回就二○○三／二○○四年度馬季練馬師牌照的申請。卓普咸解釋，他將於今個香港馬季結束後返回英國，重新開始在該國的練馬事業，因為在他來香港出任練馬師之前，原先支持其馬房的馬主，邀請他回去為他們訓練馬匹。

2. 同意卓普咸的請求，撤回他就二○○三／二○○四年度馬季練馬師牌照的申請。

新任練馬師

委員會 –

1. 批准方嘉柏先生在完成一切相關手續後，獲發二○○三／二○○四年度馬季的練馬師牌照，以填補卓普咸撤回下年度馬季練馬師牌照申請而留下的空缺。

2. 批准方嘉柏的二○○三／二○○四年度馬季練馬師牌照由二○○三年六月二十三日起生效，以便他可於現馬季季末開始接收馬匹。

方嘉柏先生將於二○○三年五月十八日星期日沙田賽事舉行之前會見新聞界。詳情將於今天稍後公佈。

批准發給丁冠豪二○○三/二○○四年度馬季助理練馬師牌照。丁冠豪先生將協助練馬師許怡。委員會同意丁冠豪的請求，撤銷其二○○三/二○○四年度馬季自由身騎師牌照的申請。
