The mar had heard the call from the stallion. She nickered loudyl in her bel like tones letting him know she was there. Her fine white arabian head was held proud and her ears were perked. Her glossy white coat shone with a tender and wild beauty even in the dim light of the barn. Her mane lay on her neck ever so gracefully like a white cloud. Her tail was held erect and it flowed down like a casading waterfall. When she raised her tail a strong smell carried on the wind. A smell that could make any stallion crazy. She was in heat for the first time.
