Solemly the young woman walked, her head low and her eyes downcast, hidden behind strands of honey hair that dare not stay behind her shoulders. The grass surrendered to her feet, letting their imprints mingle for a moment before, as if alive, the emerald strands would spring up once more to wave freely in the gentle breeze that began to seep. To escape the cold that the early morning offer, the young woman rose her hands and cupped them around her mouth. Emitting a gust of warm air, she briefly blew into her cupped palms and began to vigerously rub them together before letting them fall to resume their place at the sides of her slender form. The walk was now becoming more steep and the grass had given way to a path, but not far in the distance: the girl's peridot eyes landed upon the stable building. Her heart leaped at the sight of it, much like it would upon being reunited with an old friend, pounding harder and faster- sending adrenaline pumping through her veins. Though her heart was longing to return to the barn, it was also contemplating other's thoughts of her return- would she be sent away after her length of absence? Would her job as a trainer be ressumed? A long sigh rushed the lungs of Bree, for she knew no horse waited for her within those enclousers. Her own filly had been sold and the stallion she had been working with had of course found a new trainer. Perhaps, Bree decided turning to face a cluster of homes, it would be better to return home. Re directing her path, the young woman couldn't help but wonder what would be in store for her if she returned to the barns. Stopping, she stood alone for many minutes- thoughts running through her head instintanuously. Curiousity got the better of her and she found her feet unvoluntarily stepping in the direction of the barn. Now a silloheutte in the barn entrence, Bree paused once more. Unsure if she should enter the barn without an invite. Deciding against pushing her luck, she turned to walk down a lane between pastures- peridot eyes sweeping over the contents, shoving her hands within her pockets. Some of the horses she recognized from her time in the village, others were new to her. Stopping to admire a horse in the distance, Bree couldn't help but wonder: Where was everybody? Was her return welcome?
