Kiet inhailed sharply, sides heaving to accomodate his expanding lungs. He lowered his head, amber eyes boaring into the unknown human before him- he snorted again, nostrils flairing and catching the whiff of the carrot upon Jessia's hand. Kiet flicked back his ears as if deciding whether to step foreward or not. Shaking his head, his forelock now draped accross one eye- distorting his vision while he contemplated. All was silent for those seconds he stood in wonderment, until the cluck of Arianna pierced the air. Startled, Kiet rocked back onto his haunches and flung his head up, forelegs catapulting him in a sharp turn on his hind hooves. With his rear end now facing both humans that stallion cantered from them, muscles churning beneath his pelt as his legs drew him foreward. He finally stopped, once sure the sound couldn't "get him". Couragously he slowly turned his neck to look over his shoulder. Upon arriving in this position he caught sight of Arianna. Kiet pinned back his ears and pulled his lips up over his teeth to release a whicker, accesorized by a snort, "scolding" Arianna. Arching his neck he puffed out his chest and trotted in the direction of Arianna and Jessica, stepping high and flagging his tail. When he arrived in front of them he snorted and shook his head, flicking his tail- putting on an act to cover up for his immature fright.
