A grin split her feature's at the others...Jess's comments. It stuck as Ari responded; she hated when people questioned her knowledge and found a sort of sadistic pleasure in being proved right. How else do you think she had become a General? But now that both Dee and Jess were under her command she felt much better; relieved that nicosia would have better protection against Ash and her legion.
'Thanks Ari. I'll Bring Sadek back with me; she can help tote the horses we steal,' chuckling at the prospect, she turned to the other two. Holding out a hand to calm the spooky beast, she doned her 'general's posture', standing tall and looking at each in the eye; like a lioness would to assert her dominance (it wasn't very conceted of her actually. Harley was born to command, and could take out even Ari if she had to).
'Alright, i want you two to report to Eryn as soon as you are settled to get outfitted. You'll be given a quiver and arrows to start, including an assortment of daggers. The practice field is beyond the last barn. I expect to see you each hit the target at both a stand still and gallop before you get a long blade. I'll instruct you personally in hand-to-hand combat, since it seems to be a dead art, and staff fighting. If you need help, archery is Sadek's field of expertese, so you can ask her when we return in a couple of days. You'll each need to get your horses in condition soo, and Jess, if you don't have one i'm sure i'll be able to get one from Madras for you. As for men, i'm sure i don't have to instruct you in that field but if you have any questions feel free to ask. As a strict rule your lovers cannot fight at your side; there are to many complications. If you chose to take one that is by far you own business, and keep it that way. I run a clean opperation Ladies; my warriors are some of the best around and i won't accept anything less. If i find that you are not able to preform your duties - which will be outlined to you upon my return - i will remove you from active duty. I am not a hard-ass, though i may come off as such, but i will not tolerate slackers, just ask Ari. Lets see..i think that about covers it. Oh, and you are responsible for the care/training of your own mount, and getting armour. You don't need it but you'll want it when an arrow pierces your side. I'll be back in about two days, and by then i expect you to be ready for combat lessons. Have a good day ladies, and i will see you in a couple of days. Ari, see you then.' She knew she had loaded alot onto the two women's shoulders, but if they could not handle it, she had no desire to have them fighting beside her. Dipping in a graceful bow to Ari, her respected leader, Harley turned to strole leisurly to Star's stall; where her mare was already tacked and waiting to run.
