A pat given to her withers, she gently flicks off the dust harried up with the hard brush, working from the poll down to each fetlock. This time however, she brushed her stomach too, but before using the brush, Lori lightly ran her hand along her coat to let her know she was there and the brush would follow suit. Mindful to keep the strokes gentle, she cautiously works out the dirt clinging to her raven pelt.

"A'ta girl. I'm not so bad eh?"

That done, she picks up the hoofpick and returns the brush to the pile. Stepping beside Leila's left foreleg, she runs her hand down from her shoulder to her fetlock where she gave a light squeeze, asking her to pick her hoof up.
