"When can we go back?" The little squirrel Buffle asked.
"When Ma Mellus says she won't baff us no more." The fox Comet said. Bunfoo the badgermaid nodded. "Yes, we'll hide in Mossfwowa an' we won't go to bed until she agwees..." She said before dozing off.

"Uh, Cap'n, I found something in the woods." Morteye glared at the ferret. "What now, Ragnose?" The ferret captain barked. "Two liddle uns in Mossflower, they're sleepin' under this tent thing-" Ragnose began.
"Shut up! Jest take me to 'em!"

"Bunfoo! Comet! Help meeeeeee!" The little squirrels cries for help awoke Bunfoo and Comet.
"Quick grab the other two!" Bunfoo grabbed her wooden sword and slapped the ferret's paw. Comet darted by, eyes wide open with fright and grabbed the badgermaid's paw. " 'urry! We have to get to Wedwall!" When they were a good distance away from the ferrets, Bunfoo suddenly stopped.
"Wait, they won't help. They'll say we've been naughty an' weave us." Comet looked thoughtful. "Well, we have to save Buffle. Wet's fink."
"Fink about what?" A small voice squeaked.
"Who's dere?" Bunfoo demanded, slashing her wooden sword. "I'm a fiercest warrior awound."
A young shrew emerged from the bushes. "Me Jusy. What do you need to fink about?" So Bunfoo and Comet told the shrew about how Buffle was kidnapped by the ferrets. "I help. Logaglogalogalog!" An adult shrew appeared. "There you are Jusy, me little ruffian. Where have you been?"
"Mean ol' fewwets stealed dere likkle fwend!" Jusy said, pointing to Bunfoo and Comet. Bunfoo and Comet nodded.
"Follow me." Ordered Log-a-log,and they went off.

"Alright, Guosim, there's a squirrel infant that's been captured by a group of ferrets. We're going to rescue him." Log-alog annouced at the Guosim camp. "REady to fight, Guosim?" The reply was:
"Guosim! Logalogalogalog!"

"Per! We all know those Redwallers would do anything to get their infants back." The ferret leader said.
"Grrr, me an' Comet warriors!" A little voice barked.
"It's the stripedawg an' foxer! Git 'em!"
"Guosim! Logalogalogalog!"
The shrews lunged at the ferrets.
"C'mon!" Whispered Jusy, taking them to a bound and gagged Buffle. Quickly the treio untied the little squirrel.
"Guosim is taking us back to Wedwall." Jusy said.

"They're you are! Goodness, look at the state you're in! Bedtime and a bath for all of you." Mellus excalimed when she saw the Dibbuns.
"An' canny chesknuts!" Bunfoo growled. Mellus jumped slightly at the her order.
"What?" She asked.
"We need canny chesknuts! We need vikkles 'cause we 'scaped!"
