The stallion trudged into the meadow, his russet tail occasionally catching on the dense foliage. His head was lowered and his expression bleak. Bored. He was so bored. He was bored beyond belief, beyond his wildest imagining. He had thought the ball would relieve these feelings of restless impatience and it had, for a time at least. Then his 'date' so to speak had jilted him. Ah well, it was fun for a moment or two. Sighing heavily, he glanced about hopefully, his adventurous nature begging to be entertained.
