The femora looked suspiciously at the brute's last words. Her pools of fire flashed as her thoughts turned. Contrary to popular belief she did think before she spoke. She was thinking now, unsure of what her next words would be. Finally after a pause she let out a soft sigh, and spoke. Her voice soft, yet with an edge of ice.
Before you tell me father let me tell you something. You left me, abandoned mother and I, and Moon Maiden who you've probably never even met. I lost my brother to, and grand-father soon after that. My whole family fell apart. I may have been dark but I still loved, I still loved my bloodlines.
She let another soft sigh escape her blackend maw. Her ebon' plume flicked wearily 'gainst the equally blackend hocks. Ooids displayed no emotion, none she was willing to share. A single nail reached out to scratch the earth softly, etching a line in the earth. She stared at the ground before continuing.
Mother died, and I felt her die, because she is my mother and my blood and so we are linked in ways. I thought I would've died when.. when Shadow died.
A tear slid down her silken cheek as she spoke of her brother. God how she missed her dear twin brother, his life cut short.
I love the shadows, and the dark, the mischief and carefree of it. You were allowed to act on any emotion you felt, and no one would look down upon you. If I had run crazy with bloodwrath, Lights would look down on it. The Rebels let me be how I wish. I made friends, Winter, Adrian, MarZ, and of course my mate. I have a family now father, and you just waltz back into it. I'm suprised Star isn't dead yet with the stress and wandering. But she's strong, and grandmother had to take care of me. Your just lucky that she didn't get ahold of Maiden, or she would've come to the Rebels as well.
A release of breath was given as she finished her long speech to the brute. Proud skull was pushed upward as she stared into his eyes. What she told him he already knew, but she would press it into him more. She knew he suffered, but they had suffered at much. The waiting was the worst, not knowing if they would come back alive. Inside, Firelight had healed from the wounds of the losses she suffered. Star hadn't she was dieing.
But.. what do you need? I will give you that..
