The mage watches the mare that has approached him with some interest. Wild eyes peer out at her from tangle of cropped black hair. Hand comes up to brush it away as he continues watching her. After a moment the air around him shimmers a dark green. The same color as his mysterious eyes. He concentrates on forming a spell that will for the moment allow him to converse with the horse. Slowly the light fades. "Hello" he speaks his voice sounding clearly in one the mare would understand.
