Neatly sidestepping the intruding brute's pitiful attack, the splotched Arab turned her venemous glare upon the bay. Rolling her eyes and flattening her ears, she let her gaze stray from the chestnut mare she had been arguing with, to the bay stallion who had so rudely butted in, to the other stallion who had come to her 'rescue'. Harsh tones quickly returned as the mare's anger rose to the surface again.

"Aww, what's wrong? Can't fight your own battles? Can't have a civilized discussion with another mare without your thug barging in? Can't stand to hear the truth?"

The last sentence burst from her lips in a fury. How -dare- that ignorant stallion try to lash out at her? Her time away from her home had taught her well how to defend herself against those who wished to harm her, and she had no qualms about bringing those lessons into use. Another attempt to harm her would only lead to pain for the stallion. Snorting at the pair, she once again planted her hooves in the earth, her cold stare shooting daggers in their direction. She made a mental note to thank her rescuer once she managed to get away from this unpleasant scene.

"Too bad, dearie, for all I've said here -is- the truth. And if you can't handle that, then you shouldn't have acted as you did. Neither you, nor your pathetic excuse for a knight in shining armor can change the facts."
