~She nodded her head slightly, flowing in and out of thoughts and reality, barely hearing Alex speak. Suddenly she tingled all over. Her breath caught in her throat as blues grew large~ B-basil... it's... it's time!

\Orbs squint slightly, not having a clue what she was talking about/ Wot time be that me lass?

Mother! She is having a foal! W-we got to get to the valley! ~Hastily she stood and urged Basil up, sorry to rush him but there wasn't much time~

\Lobes prick up with surprise/ I say! Wh'n did this all happ'n lass?

Basil! ~She was almost jumping up and down and screaming. Whirling around to face Alex she grabbed his hand and started to pull on him too~ Come too please! C'mon guys... hurry! She is ready to have it now!

Canna tell 'er to wait till we git th're lass? \He asked, slowly moving up to his hooves. He then got a funny look from Katie and tried to go faster. Finally he was up and started moving toward Hopeful Valley/

~She rolled her eyes and gave Alex's hand a tug before dropping it and walking, almost running, toward the valley~ Please come Alex! It will be wonderful! ~She was going mad trying to keep a slow pace next to Basil~

\Stops and pushed his dial against the young two leggers/ Ack.. ye two go ahead... me will git th're in time doncha know.

~Stops and looks at him, worried about leaving him. Eyes drifted from Alex to Basil then toward the valley. Finally making up her mind she broke into a run, leaping over rocks and branches that could hurt her bare feet as she flew across the land, nearly as fast as a horse~

\The old steed chuckled at her excitement and watched her go before nudging Alex/ Ye better try 'n catch 'er me lad, doubt if ye can though... she be a fast one doncha know. Hast now! We got a young un to git born 'ere!
