|He was satisfied. His name remained unspoken but it was what he was, a shifter. Her name echoed throughout his mind for a moment as he watched her move. Then feeling her try to herd him he snorts softly and froze in place the best he could without collasping. Stare made toward her, auds swiveled. He didn't want to move, only because he was stubborn. He did want water, he needed water, but he stood for a while, or trying to, with his gaze upon her. Then unable to take the fire of pain any longer he took a few steps forward, then came at her side. He gritted his teeth so hard he thought they would crack under the pressure as he moved toward the water. Orbs lost their beam as reality slowly sunk in, and the pain roared like fire|

|The shadows are shifting� from dark to light� the shadows are shifting� through day and night� the shadows are shifting� I don�t know who I am� they call me the shifter� in this strange land|

|Who am I? I don�t even know� so they call me� the Shifter|
